BEAMS Japan

In collaboration with Tokyo concept store Addition Adelaide and iconic Japanese retailer BEAMS, I created a limited-edition series of graphic t-shirts that blended pop iconography with protest energy. The capsule—launched under the banner “Fuck the Recession”—was a bold response to economic anxiety, designed to provoke and empower.

The project extended beyond apparel. I designed window displays for the BEAMS Harajuku flagship, bringing the collection’s irreverent spirit to life in 3D form. I also created event collateral—including Fashion Week party invitations—for a launch event that brought together Tokyo’s fashion underground, press, and cultural insiders.

This collaboration marked my first creative partnership in Japan and introduced my work to a new global audience. It remains one of the most radical and joyful projects of my career.
