Adbusters
My first job after design school was at the iconic Adbusters magazine, where I worked as Senior Designer under the creative direction of one of the most radical design teams of the era. It was a crash course in culture jamming, political art, and visual disruption—and a place where I truly found my voice as a designer.
I contributed to the layout and design of the magazine, collaborated with a global network of artists and writers, and helped bring bold editorial ideas to life. I also supported the launch of Blackspot Sneakers, a subversive anti-brand challenging the corporate sneaker giants, and served as Senior Designer and Art Researcher for Design Anarchy, Adbusters’ experimental design manifesto.
This experience shaped my values as a creative. It taught me how design can be a form of protest, and introduced me to a community of prolific thinkers, artists, and rebels who continue to inspire me today.
